This is the debut music video for Louisville band Nolia Noon with its song, Roses. The video features singer/guitarist Jared Foos as a musician who is left heartbroken when his longtime girlfriend leaves him for someone who can offer her wealth and stability. She soon has regrets but is it too late?

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
The rose in the film symbolizes the end of the relationship for both lovers, but the story is propelled by the use of an airplane motif. The film begins with childhood friends flying paper airplanes and transitions to them still enjoying the play as adult lovers. The girl even presents her boyfriend with a paper plane embellished with hand drawn roses, foreshadowing her departure. Ready to move past her childhood ways, she finds a man rich enough to own a real airplane and provide the luxuries that a struggling musician cannot. As an act of defiance, the singer and his band perform Roses in her new lover’s airplane hangar, causing her to realize that wealth is no substitute for love and passion. But alas, the singer has moved on, and he casts her paper plane into the stream where they spent their early years bonding as friends and falling in love, allowing the water to wash him anew.
